This informative event will present best practices in utilizing social media and other technology platforms to help you advance in your career or build your business. Breakfast, provided by Encore Catering, is included, along with the opportunity to network with other communications professionals.

Carolyn Dacey of “The Creative Group” will discuss how to create an online portfolio of your design, art, or written work. Aliah Davis-McHenry of “Aliah Public Relations” will present how using social media – such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter – can help you generate leads, land clients and make valuable connections. Janet Neal of “Above & Beyond” will be moderating the discussion.

Janet M. Neal

In 2002, Janet Neal saw corporate work/life balances issues and founded Productivity Resource Group to provide coaching and training services. In 2007 she founded The Professional Women’s Center addressing the desire on the part of women to connect and having no facility designed to allow it. She worked with The Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership to help entrepreneurs reach their next level, and is currently the New Business Development Manager at Above & Beyond, a shared office and virtual staffing center for small business owners.  Ms. Neal is a certified coach, speaker and mother of 3 future entrepreneurs and is the author of the upcoming book Soul in Control: Reflections of a Reformed Superwoman.
